volta Points make returning packaging even more convenient. You insert the packaging, the machine verifies it, and the deposit can be refunded in a variety of ways. Intuitive to use, they keep pace with people who are always on the go, even when they’re carrying just one or two items of packaging.

The Volta kiosks were designed to make returning large quantities of packaging more convenient. Items can be returned all at once, with a scanning capacity of about 120 units per minute and on-site assistance available whenever needed. Afterward, the deposit can be refunded via the volta€ app, through MB Way (coming soon), or donated to a charitable organization.

Manual volta Points operate in small shops, local markets, cafés and partner haberdasheries. At these locations, the shopkeeper takes your packaging directly from you, scans the barcode and gives you your refund in cash. This is a practical collection solution for smaller establishments without the capacity to install RVMs, thereby ensuring that consumers continue to have access to the system.
